1 Check oil level

Turn the engine off.

The dipstick is located on the starboard

side of the engine.

2 Oil level

The oil level must be at or near the upper

mark on the dipstick*. If necessary top up

with the same brand and type of oil.

*) The difference between the two oil level

marks is:

0.8 litres (1.4 UK pt, 1.7 US pt)

3 Topping up oil

The oil filler cap is positioned next to the

cover over the valves.

4 Maintenance

Checking engine oil level

Daily, before starting.
